Álma is a competitive game in which a cat tries to escape from Hades, the underworld. One player controls the cat and tries to escape from the underworld, while the other player controls Hades himself and places obstacles in the cat’s path. Inspired by Tetris, Hades places blocks in the underworld to block the cat’s path. However, the cat needs these very stones to escape from the underworld.
For the competitive platformer game, I programmed the cat Persephone and the overall game logic in Unity. Additionally, I created the texture and animation of the cat using Blender. The game was developed for a course at the University of Bremen with a total of 4 contributors.
